Beginning back on March 4 in Georgia, the Resurrection Dance Theatre of Haiti has completed its Spring tour of the US. Making stops in Georgia, Arizona, California, Colorado, Nebraska, and Florida, the group has danced in schools, churches, theaters, concert halls, and even parking lots to raise funds to rebuild St. Joseph's Home for Boys in Port au Prince and Wings of Hope in Fermathe. The goal of the tour was to raise $250,000. As the reports come in, we will soon know what was raised.
Either way, according to Michael Geilenfeld, founder of St. Joseph's back in 1985, "seeds were planted."
We are so thankful to the group for taking a month out of their busy schedules to join us in the United States. We are never the same after we spend time with them.
Thank you, Resurrection Dance Theatre of Haiti!
